Set in a small town this is Elle, Skye, her 3 year old daughter and Donovan's story.Donovan is new in town. He is single, a lawyer and a really nice guy. He has met Elle and he is instantly attracted to her. Everyone wants him to know she has a child. Obviously a turn-off for some guys. They don't want to raise another man's child and if there are issues with custody, etc. they just don't want to get involved. However, Donovan meets Skye, 3, and he falls for her as well.Elle had a bad breakup. She went after the wrong guy and when he found out she was pregnant he became really bad. The baby is born and he wants nothing to do with her. He lets her know that he doesn't like her and doesn't want her in his space. Elle takes her child and goes back home to live with her mother and work in her beauty salon. Win-win for everyone. But when Donovan shows her attention even she warns him off.Skye is 3. She and her mother have been through at lot. She is very smart for her age. She knows her father doesn't like her and she doesn't want to be around him.
